Marriage Preperation

As a church, our desire is to partner with couples in building a marriage which honours God. When it comes to investing in couples in the pre-marital process (both seriously dating and engaged couples), our goal as a church is:

• to motivate couples to invest in developing their prospective marriage during a season of their lives where their attention is often predominantly devoted only to their wedding ceremony. To that end, we see ourselves much more as marriage-builders than wedding ceremony planners. Before God we have a responsibility to help couples consider what a godly marriage relationship looks like.
• our aim is to motivate a couple to be developing spiritually, individually, and as a couple. (Matthew 6: 19-21) We want to do more than help people learn to communicate better or manage their finances; we want to help them ‘go for it with God’ to a greater degree.

To this end we aim to provide opportunities throughout the year for couples to gather for short marriage enrichment events, and also have pre-marriage counselling for those who wish to be married in the church. Please check out our calendar for upcoming events or contact Pastor Jen.

Family Enrichment

The church sponsors a series each year on topics for families, such as positive peer pressure, spiritual development, and sex education.These will be anounced as part of any  upcoming sermon series.
